Gift Box Questions, Answered

Short answers on quoting, proofs, making and delivering your boxes. If your question is not here, email, call or WhatsApp the team.

Ordering and quotes

How do I ask for a gift box quote?

Send the box style, the inside size in millimetres, the quantity and any finishes through the quote form. You can attach artwork or a rough sketch. A quote comes back within one working day.

What does a printed gift box cost per unit?

Folding card styles start from £0.25 a box. Rigid styles, made from greyboard wrapped in printed paper, are quoted higher. Your quote gives the exact figure for your size, quantity and finishes.

Is there a minimum order for printed gift boxes?

Minimums are low and quoted per job. Tell us the quantity you have in mind and the quote will say whether it works for that style.

Can I pay for boxes on the website?

No. The site has no checkout and takes no payment online. You get a quote first, and payment is arranged with the team once you accept it.

Can I get prices for two box styles in one request?

Yes. List both styles on one form or in one email. Each gets its own line on the quote, so you can compare them side by side.

Design and proofs

Do I pay for the design proof?

No. The proof is free and comes before anything is printed. Our designers place your artwork on the flat box layout so you can check every panel.

How many rounds of changes can I make to a proof?

Ask for edits until you are happy with it. Nothing goes to print until you approve the proof.

What artwork files print best on a gift box?

A vector logo saved as PDF, AI, EPS or SVG prints sharpest. A high-resolution PNG or JPG works for photos. If you only have a rough file, send it and the designers will say what else they need.

Can I try my logo on a box before asking for a price?

Yes. Use the Design Your Gift Box page to place your logo on a box photo, then send it to us for a free proof.

Can you match my brand colour exactly?

Pantone matching is available on request. Give the Pantone reference with your artwork and the designers note it on the proof.

Production and delivery

When does production of my boxes start?

Production starts on the day you approve the proof. Folding card boxes then need 4–6 working days, and wrapped rigid boxes need 8–10.

How long does delivery take once the boxes are made?

Delivery is free and tracked to any UK mainland address. It takes 2–3 working days from dispatch.

Can I order boxes for a fixed event date?

Yes. Give the date when you ask for a quote. Allow time for the proof, production and delivery, and reply to the proof quickly so the plan holds.

What should I do if my boxes arrive damaged?

Take photos of the damage and send them to the team within 10 days. Damaged or misprinted boxes are reprinted or refunded.

Boards, finishes and sizes

What is the difference between rigid and folding card gift boxes?

Rigid boxes are greyboard wrapped in printed paper and hold their shape like a keepsake. Folding card boxes are printed boxboard that folds flat, and they cost less and are made faster.

Which finishes can I add to a gift box?

You can choose matt, gloss or soft-touch lamination, foil in gold, silver, rose gold or a colour, embossing or debossing, and spot UV. Print on the inside is also an option.

How do I give you the size of my box?

Give the inside size in millimetres as length × width × height. Measure the product, or the product sitting in its insert, and leave a little room so it lifts out easily.

Do you make gift boxes in fixed sizes?

No. Every box is made to your product. Each style page lists four typical sizes as a starting point, but you can ask for any size.

Can I order a kraft gift box?

Yes. Folding styles can be made in kraft board, which keeps a natural brown surface under the print.

Send us your brief

Tell us what goes in the box, the size and how many you need. A quote comes back within one working day, and a free design proof follows before anything is printed.
