Why shop gift boxes by occasion?

The occasion tells you most of what the box needs to do. A client gift needs a logo and a tidy reveal, a hamper needs depth and strength, and a ring needs a slot that grips.

Which boxes work for corporate and staff gifting?

Corporate orders tend to follow a date: a conference, a new starter week or year-end thank-yous. Work back from that date, allowing for the quote, the proof, production and 2–3 working days for delivery.

A rigid magnetic or lid and base box with a foil logo suits client gifts that will be kept. For a large staff run, folding card keeps the cost per box down and is made faster. What size box fits a hamper or a folded shirt?

Lay out the items as you want them seen, then measure the footprint and the tallest piece. For a hamper, the tallest bottle sets the depth, and tissue or shred needs a little extra room on top.

Clothing is easier. Fold the garment the way it will be packed and measure it flat; a folded shirt usually sits well in about 330 × 250 × 70 mm. Knitwear needs more depth than you expect, so measure a jumper folded, not laid flat. Accessories such as scarves, ties and belts fit a shallow box of about 200 × 150 × 50 mm.

How are jewellery and flower boxes different?

Both are small rigid boxes where the inside matters as much as the outside. A jewellery box has a card or foam insert with a slit for a ring or a pad for earrings, often in a contrasting colour to the lid.

Flower boxes come as round tubes or heart shapes with a deep base. Tell us whether the stems are fresh or dried so the base is planned for them, and a ribbon tied around the lid finishes it. See how card, foam and pulp inserts hold different products.

What do presentation boxes add?

A presentation box is shallow and flat, built to show something laid out: an award, a set of samples or a launch kit with a printed card. The lid or flap often carries a message printed on the inside.

Because they are handed over in person, the finish shows up close. Soft-touch lamination with a debossed logo or foil detail suits them well. A foam insert with shaped cut-outs keeps each sample or award in its place while the box is carried.

How do you order for an occasion?

2. Send inside sizes in millimetres, or item sizes so we can suggest a fit.
3. Choose rigid or folding card where the box offers both.
4. Receive your quote within one working day.
5. Approve the free design proof, after as many edits as you need.
6. Boxes are made, then sent free and tracked to a UK mainland address.

Rigid boxes take 8–10 working days after the proof is approved, folding card 4–6. Minimums are low and quoted per job. Contact the gift box team if your date is tight.
