Which logo file works best for the mock-up?
A PNG with a transparent background looks cleanest on the photo. For printing, our designers will ask for a vector file such as SVG, PDF or AI if you have one.
Will the printed box look exactly like my mock-up?
Close, but not exactly. The mock-up is on a sample photo; the free proof shows your artwork on the real layout for your size.
Can I place my logo on the side of the box as well as the lid?
The mock-up shows the front view. Tell us where else you want print when you send it, and the proof will show every panel.
Does sending a mock-up commit me to an order?
No. It starts a conversation and a quote. Nothing is made until you approve a proof.
Can I try several box styles with the same logo?
Yes. Switch the photo, place the logo again and send the one you like, or send more than one and ask for prices on each.
What if my logo is too small or blurry to print?
Our designers will tell you on the proof and suggest a fix. Often a sharper version from whoever made the logo solves it.
Can I add a foil or embossed finish in the mock-up?
The mock-up shows placement only. Name the finish you want when you send it, and the proof marks where foil, embossing or spot UV goes.
Do I need design software to make a mock-up?
No. It runs in your web browser on a phone or a computer, and all you need is your logo file.
How soon will I hear back after sending a mock-up?
You get a quote within one working day, then a free proof from our designers.
Can I send a full design rather than just a logo?
Yes. Email a complete design or a pattern to info@thegiftboxes.co.uk and we will fit it to your box layout. You can also ask for a quote here.
